About Me

Alex Collado is a rising international artist who has performed all over the United States, Canada, and the Philippines. In 2017, Alex was named champion of the DZMM Global Pinoy Singing Idol competition in Los Angeles, CA. The same year, Alex represented the United States at the international competition in Manila, Philippines, which was produced by ABS-CBN (the largest media and entertainment corporation in the Philippines).

A representative from ABS-CBN said "Alex is a star with a bright future ahead of him." Audiences rave about the "power and richness" of his voice. What separates Alex from other singers is his versatility and range as an artist and musician.

Alex performs musical genres ranging from classical, opera, musical theatre, sacred-religious, jazz, and pop. He  attended the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas in Austin where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and graduated with honors. Alex studied voice with Three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Donnie Ray Albert and David Small. 

Alex resides in Los Angeles, California where he teaches at a private voice studio and is the Director of Music at Christ Fellowship Church in La Puente, CA.
